The Honey Pot
The Honey Pot is a warm and friendly oasis in the heart of Penzance, serving delicious home-made food and cakes six days a week. It’s the perfect place for lunch or a snack, or to meet up with friends for a coffee and cake. Close to Chapel Street, visitors use it as a base for a tour of Penzance – and locals use it as a regular refreshment stop.
Antique furniture, stripped pine floors, comfy cushions and fresh flowers create a homely and relaxed atmosphere and owner Kathy Hawkins and her able staff will always give you a friendly welcome.
All food is cooked on the premises and Kathy has a passion for quality. This means you can expect food that is delicious, fairly-priced and brimming with fresh and locally-sourced ingredients. The specials board changes daily and there will always be at least two of The Honey Pot’s famous soups. Specials might also include homity pie, chargrilled lemon thyme chicken with rice and salad, or feta and roast mediterranean vegetable tart. A huge choice of home-made cakes, scones and treats are all made fresh on the premises. Vegetarian and gluten-free diets comprehensively catered for.
Open Mon - Sat 10am - 6pm. Lunch served from 12. You may BYO. Evening parties by arrangement.
