Situated only a stone’s throw from the Penzance promenade, from the outside a traditional pub but, when you look a little closer, a relaxed and informal dining experience hard to beat. With all the atmosphere, style and service levels of a pub, this place is all about the fabulous food.
Its unique blend comes from working closely with local growers, farmers and fisherman. This means regularly changing seasonal menus featuring the very best ingredients.
The food is modern British cuisine with classical influences, presented in an elegant and light style and always great value for money. Everything is cooked from scratch each day and there is something on the menu to cater for all tastes, with local fish a favourite.
Under new ownership from last autumn, the established team, headed up by chef Jay Orrey, are keen to offer the same quality service focusing on their professional but relaxed approach.
During the warmer weather a secluded courtyard lends itself to leisurely dining or lunchtime drinks on a summer’s day.
