Rick Stein Porthleven
With fantastic harbour views, the Rick Stein Porthleven restaurant offers local and seasonal produce all inspired by his travels. Expect to see dishes including his “gloriously messy” Singapore chilli crab, fresh Cornish fish and rib eye steak as well as sharing plates of Japanese fish cakes, Serrano ham croquettas and grilled sardines.
You’ll also find some nice wines and good beers, particularly their own Chalky’s Bite and Chalky’s Bark, brewed by Sharp’s Brewery in Rock.
Porthleven is the perfect Cornish fishing town and the most southerly fishing town in the UK. With stunning scenery, historic character and plenty of independent shops and galleries you can easily enjoy a day here. Take a stroll around the harbour, visit the nearby beaches and enjoy some fantastically fresh seafood whilst watching the boats land their catch.
