The Roundhouse and Capstan Gallery
One of the most iconic buildings in Cornwall, this unique circular gallery is also the westernmost art gallery on the British mainland.
As part of West of Eden Fine Art, this busy gallery, at the heart of Sennen Cove, has become a magnet for some of the best of Cornish art, jewellery and craft.
Set on two floors, the Capstan Room and the Net Loft have two distinct personalities, each a showcase for Cornish excellence.
The ever-changing display of paintings includes work by Romi Behrens, Sara Bevan, Heather Bray, Paul Armitage, Ian Laurie, Neil Pinkett, John Piper, Michael Praed, Michael Strang, Richard Lee Stevenson, Mike Hindle, Mark Poprawski, Richard Guy, Edwina Broadbent, Jan Phethean and Flynn O’Reilly.
Sculpture and ceramics by Philip Booth, Colin Caffell, Nigel Wills and Alan Tugwell.
Pottery also by Russell Gibbs, Rick Henham, Lincoln Kirby-Bell, Carol Scott, John Mackenzie, Louise Thompson and Eleanor Newell.
Contemporary jewellers include Kath Green, Katie Hughes, Emily Nixon and Lesley Ross. Knitwear by Corrine Carr. Wood by Kevin Hanley. Photographers include Sara Lay, Mike Newman and Philip Trevennen.
