Newlyn Art Gallery
Offering a wide and varied exhibition programme across its two sites, the galleries present contemporary work in all media by regional, national and international artists, with a supporting programme of events.
The 2016 season at Newlyn Art Gallery features a selling show of more than 70 works by the respected artists who teach at Newlyn School of Art, running until 9th April 2016. This is followed by Drawing A Presence 2016, work created by young artist-led collectives based in Cornwall. In addition to the main gallery spaces at Newlyn Art Gallery, The Picture Room shows changing exhibitions of affordable works for sale, and offers the opportunity to buy work by some of the region’s most recognised artists. The 2016 programme includes shows by Jayne Anita Smith, Michael Porter and Rachel Reeves.
Both venues have a café serving snacks and light lunches, as well as a well-stocked shop selling books, cards, jewellery and gifts. Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.
