Cornwall Crafts Association – Trelowarren
The CCA has played an important role in the historic development of Crafts in Cornwall, and must be one of the most established Craft Associations in the country.
At Trelowarren they kick off with Craftsmanship 2015 on 7 March – 14 June. The Summer Exhibition ‘Red’ The Other Clay 21 June – 9 August. This exhibition focuses on ceramics made in red earthenware clay and will include such makers as Richard Phetean, Francoise Dufayard, Niek Hoogland and Linda Style.
This year the CCA will be launching their new website.
The CCA has a national reputation for the contemporary, design-led craftwork of a wide variety of members, including textiles, prints, ceramics, jewellery, wood, metalwork and glass. It offers members a place to sell their work, as well as direct contact with customers, who often commission work privately.
The two galleries are both situated in attractive parkland and gardens open to the public, that support the work of makers in Cornwall.
Trelowarren hold changing themed exhibitions from submitted members’ work and guest exhibitors.
